Sampling comments: "90 Elliot Type A folding traps... were set in nine transects of 10 traps spaced 12m apart. Additionally, two treadle operated 22 x 22 x 48 cm wire-mesh cage traps were located next to the third and eighth Elliot trap in each transect... traps were set over four consecutive nights... Baits used in the Elliot traps alternated trap-by-trap between a slice of mild salami and a ball of rolled oats and peanut butter. Cubes of potato smeared with peanut butter were used as bait for the cage traps"
